First day and we barely avoided setting the RV on fire and stepping on a baby rattler.
- charged up the RV and the next morning the batteries were mostly discharged. Turns out I stuffed a box in a outside storage bin and accidentally turned on the light. Charred the box!
- we camped at Woodson Bridge SRA outside on Corning. Beautiful park under the oaks with grass and no one there. Hiked a trail to the beach and the dogs and I came within a foot of stepping on a small snake on the path. It was a baby rattle snake and it struck at the stick Polly used to shoo it off the trail.
Still having fun!
Ahh that is the way a trip should start. JR remember when the utility trailer got it's first flat and you went to find some wood to prop it with and the place you looked was full of yellowjackets that stung you viciously?
